Christmas for Orphanages
Hundreds of people came to the concert by the Washington Balalaika Society, Slavic Male Chorus and Choral Assembly of the New Life Church. People donated money and necessary goods for orphans. Four men from the New Life Church went to ten orphanages in Ukraine and gave 1,500 personal presents to children. Also we presented: a badly needed carpet in the physical therapy gym in the TB Sanatorium, 50 lamps for one of the orphanages, 5,000 pairs of socks and 2,100 pairs of underwear for boys and girls, transferred some funds for the fire damage repairs in one of the orphanages, paid for the medicine for the eye surgery for a teenager, also some other needs were satisfied. Yet more important – we were able to bring hope, faith, love and share joy of Christmas with so many children. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THIS PROJECT!
